Q: I registered for MyBuffalo.com to (…make comments on BuffaloNews.com articles, subscribe to newsletters, use the MyBuffalo social network) but I am unable to log in.
A: Your account is not activated until you click the confirmation link in the account activation email that you should have received after completing your registration. If you did not receive the message within 10 minutes of registration, please check your spam folder. If the message did not appear in your spam folder, please email us. Please note that you must click the activation link within 48 hours of registration or the link will no longer work. If it has been over 48 hours since your registration, please email us.
Q: My account is active but I am having trouble logging in.
A: If you are uncertain of your username or password, please use the Forgot Your Password? link in the sign-in box. If you are certain that you have the correct username and password, please email us.
Q: Where will I need registration?
A: You will need to register for a MyBuffalo.com account in order to make comments on BuffaloNews.com articles, subscribe to BuffaloNews.com newsletters, or use the MyBuffalo social network to post blogs, photos, videos, audio files, or use the MyBuffalo message board. You will only need to register once.
Q: Why did I get an e-mail asking me to verfiy my newsletter account?
A: In order to prevent spammers from creating fake accounts at our site and to require a degree of accountability for all content posted, we ask that all of our users verify their email account.
Q: Is MyBuffalo.com registration free?
A: Yes. Registration is free of charge and gives you access to all BuffaloNews.com, Buffalo.com, and MyBuffalo.com functions that require a user account.
Q: How do I sign up for newletters?
A: If you are not a registered MyBuffalo.com user, please go to http://account.mybuffalo.com/ signup. If you are a registered user, please visit the My Account section of your MyBuffalo.com account and click on the Email Newsletter link in the toolbar.
Q: Are you having trouble registering for a newsletter?
A: If you're having difficulty registering, please read this entire document or email us.
Q: How do I subscribe to more newsletters or unsubscribe from newsletters?
A: Please visit the My Account section of your MyBuffalo.com account and click on the Email Newsletter link in the toolbar.
Q: How do I edit my profile?
A: Please visit the My Account section of your MyBuffalo.com account and click on the Edit Profile link in the toolbar.
Q: I've forgotten my password. How can I get it?
A: Please use the Forgot Your Password? link in the sign-in box.
Q: I tried to register and was told that my account already existed. Why?
A: This may occur for any of the following reasons:
1. You had an active Buffalo.com email account, Buffalo.com/YourHub account, and/or a Buffalo.com/Spotted account as of June 8, 2009. All users with active accounts were automatically assigned MyBuffalo.com accounts. Please email us for your account info.
2. You previously registered but never activated your account with your confirmation email.
3. You previously registered but your account was disabled by an administrator.

); I have logged out and back in several times and no solution. What happened to the "help email" that was here, I don't know where else to write about this problem now.
Also, is it possible to limit the viewers of my comments within my profile to "nobody"?
