    • Buffalo's generosity shines as the crowds come out to support the Buffalo Zoo. 2010 Polar Bites appeared to be a huge sucsess. Hundreds showed up to support the Zoo and try some of Buffalo's best foods and drinks. There was live entertainment, Chinese and silent auctions and so much great food and drink. Thank you to all the sponsors and supporters of the 2010 Polar Bites.

  • Does anyone know what happened to the Family Bakery on Hertel Avenue between Military and Elmwood? My sister and I are trying to duplicate the cheesecake and other recipes from the bakery. We live in Park City, Utah now and still have Wigalia and would love to surprize other family members out here with the cakes we grew up with. I lived on Sunset Street, just around the corner from the bakery for many years, in the house my father grew up in.
